Le Bunny

Hello, my dearies! Today, I'd like to tell you about a recent and unusual venture of mine. It so happens that I know of a baby soon to come into this world, and after much pondering about what I could crochet for him, I set my heart on sewing something up instead.

As I am pretty much a beginner in the field of sewing, I found something that looked relatively easy to make, like these adorable bunnies by The Little Tiny, and doodled my own version:

I then drew it out more carefully to enable me to cut pattern pieces from it:

And after weeks of cutting, re-cutting, pinning, unpinning, re-pinning, procrastinating, sewing, pressing, more procrastinating and even a little bit of crocheting, "Le Bunny" was born (thus named because its future owner is a French-English baby-to-be):

Phew! It was quite the challenge, but I really love the result, even with - and perhaps actually because of - all its accidental wonky bits, so much so that I was quite sad to part with it. I'm already planning another one for Christmas! Watch this space :)

Thanks for reading!
